For Dylan's first birthday, we decided to go into London for the day, obviously having no idea how important London would become for Dylan moving forward.

We opened a few presents at home before boarding the train to the capital. We took in a few touristy sights like the changing of the guard, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the London Eye and the sea life centre.

We held a small family party a few days later with cake and more presents. Dylans best presents were a see saw, which we still have, and play kitchen equipment. Dylan loved play food!

I also still have the singing birthday cake but it doesn't sing any more!
